1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SecondaryHQ ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SecondaryHQ provides medical school application intelligence, including school profiles, admissions insights, and strategic guidance to help pre-med students make informed decisions about where to apply.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service

4. Payment and Refunds

  • Access to SecondaryHQ requires a one-time payment
  • All fees are listed on our website at the time of purchase
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Refund Policy: Refund requests made within 7 days of purchase will be honored, provided you have not accessed more than 5 school profiles. After 7 days or accessing more than 5 profiles, all sales are final.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Reproduce, distribute, or republish our content without permission
  • Use automated tools to scrape or download our content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

All content on SecondaryHQ—including text, graphics, logos, and data compilations—is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided
  • Admission to any medical school
  • Any particular outcome from using our Service

Medical school admissions data changes frequently. While we strive for accuracy, you should verify critical information (such as deadlines, prerequisites, and policies) directly with each school.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SECONDARYHQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any decisions made based on information provided by the Service
  • Unauthorized access to your account
  • Any errors or omissions in our content

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SecondaryHQ and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to:

Material changes to these Terms will be posted on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of California.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SecondaryHQ regarding the Service.
